The AJ Student Prize 2019 was an incredible celebration of emerging architectural talent, and I was proud to be there to support our outstanding students, Hanna Makhoul and Ayesha Kaur. The prize recognizes exceptional student projects from schools of architecture across the UK, highlighting innovative thinking, bold spatial explorations, and critical responses to contemporary challenges.
A huge congratulations to Hanna and Ayesha for their nominations.
The submissions were judged by a jury that included Pippa Nissen of Nissen Richards, Edmund Fowles of Feilden Fowles, Ken Okonkwo of Haworth Tompkins and Meredith Bowles of Mole Architects.
